While working on it, I inadvertently published it... but just for a sec. Then, I quickly fixed it, so that it would publish on the selected date, as planned. Unfortunately, those few seconds were enough to make the post show up on blog rolls, but with a broken link. Then when it actually got published, it didn't show up at all. I know that because my pipes didn't freeze and I didn't have to bail out my shower.
