Here We Go Again

Thought for the day:  Funny. I don't remember being absent-minded ...

Oh boy! Time to take another road trip, people! Virtual, of course. You know, where we giggle together over some of the billboards we'd like to see on the side of the highway. Time for me to slack off educate y'all. Yeah, that's it. Educate. Has nothing at all to do with the editing I want to do today.

There. I hope that started your day off with a smile or two. Time for me to spend all stinking day removing a comma and then putting it back again do some industrious editing. There, that's the spirit! As always, sincere thanks to the friendly folks at dribbleglass for allowing me to share their hysterical billboards with you.

Until next time, take care of yourselves. And each other.

  4. We use Kraft peanut butter. Obviously the dad in this household didn't have enough crap to think about.

  8. Dianne- Glad to start your morning off with a smile. And thanks for the good wishes on wrestling with that comma. Turns out, I have to go to the dentist in a little while, so the commas will have to start the match without me.

Jules- Yeah, eggs are great if you don't think too hard about where they came from, or what they are ...

Crazy- (I MAY call you crazy, mayn't I?) Thanks so much for stopping by. Glad to share a giggle with you.

Mr. C- Really? My hubby doesn't give a good diddle, but if he had the option, he could probably go for a peanut butter named Bambi.

Delores- Oh, but I'll bet you could GIVE him some more crap to think about!

Linda- Oh, I will. Takes a heckuva lot less time to prepare than one of my usual posts.

Arleen- Thanks. I'm looking forward to it. Just as soon as I get home from the dentist. Oh, and lunch. Must do lunch first. What? My best friend's the dental receptionist, and lunch with her is a must. So I'm not procrastinating. Really. I'm. Not.

  9. Connie- Glad you liked 'em.

Carrie- Oh, I hope you're in a good mood today. You're in rare form, anyway. Comma comma chameleon, indeed! Funny.

    Take care.

  14. Love the CC one. And the eggs.

Are these really billboards or just photoshopped?

  18. Anne- The billboards are creations of some really creative people with wacky senses of humor. Not something we'll ever see on the side of the road, but it sure would be fun if we did.

    Austan- Thanks. Me, too.

    Liza- Good!

Shannon- Glad you liked them. The editing went so-so. Slowly, but surely ...

    Sarah- I'm glad.

  19. That was a smile and again. The way they were lined up reminded me of the old Burma Shave signs. Anybody old enough to remember them? Some of them got down right racey, too.

  20. Hi, Manzie. Oh yeah, I remember the Burma Shave signs. Used to get a real kick out of reading them as we went down the road, and you're right. Some of them were a little racy, especially for those days.
